Confidential HSE figures published by the Irish Times today show that there have been 36 Covid-19 related deaths in nursing homes across the north west.
The breakdown per county is:
Donegal 30
Sligo 5
Leitrim 1
The figures show a breakdown nationally of 1,030 deaths in 167 facilities catering for older people across the Country.
