Sligo Rowing Club’s Brian Colsh (pictured) and his dad Tommy were among the guests on Ocean FM Sport on Sunday.
17-year-old Brian from Ballymote was on course to represented Ireland at the World Rowing Championships later this year before the event was postponed because of the current Covid-19 emergency.
His dad Tommy and mum Rosaleen were both keen roweres in the day. Tommy won four national rowing championships. He and his son spoke to Austin O’Callaghan about how they managing in the current lockdown – and about the disappointment of Brian missing out on his inaugural World Rowing Championships.
