Farmers need to follow HSE guidelines and not fake news



The IFA National Livestock Chairperson says farmers should follow the guidelines from the Government and HSE in relation to Covid-19.

It comes as most agricultural marts are continuing to go ahead this week despite the restrictions on mass gatherings.

The Irish Co-Operative Organisation Society has put in place special rules that will allow them to take place.

No more than 100 people are allowed attend a mart at any one time – and they all must be trading customers.
