Tributes have been paid this morning to the former Parish Priest in Glenfarne, the late the Fr John Quinn, who passed away following a short illness.
Fr Quinn was involved in a number of projects in Glenfarne and played a significant in the development of the Ballroom of Romance.
He was also a keen supporter of both Glenfarne and Leitrim GAA.
His last act as a priest was blessing the Christmas crib in Glenfarne before entering hospital.
His funeral mass will take place today at 12 noon, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.
Due to HSE guidelines the mass will be private.
