Hysteria over Coronavirus will impact on local hospitality sector

The fallout from the hysteria surrounding Coronavirus has the impact to do more damage to the region’s hospitality sector than the virus itself.

That’s according to a leading north west hotelier.

Joe Dolan, the former President of the Irish Hotels federation says there are already some negative consequences of the Coronavirus impacting the sector with business tourism being one area that is being hit.

Dolan who is a board member of Failte Ireland says that already hotels in the north west are reporting cases of booking being deferred and cancelled.
