Leitrim Councillor calls on Fianna Fáil leader to consider his position

Drumkeerin based Fianna Fáil Councillor Mary Bohan has become the latest Fianna Fail member to call into the question the future of the party leader Michael Martin.

There have been renewed calls on the Michael Martin to step down from his position in the aftermath of the recent general election.

There is also believed to be growing opposition within the party to the idea of entering into coalition with Fine Gael with many members unhappy with Fianna Fáil having propped up the Last government with the supply and confidence arrangement.
