Leitrim produced a commendable performance on Saturday evening in their opening match of the 2020 Allianz Football League as they drew with Derry on a final scoreline of Derry 2-11 Leitrim 1-14.
Terry Hyland’s side led the Oak Leaf County by two points as the game ticked towards full-time but Derry managed two late scores to rescue a point.

Leitrim play Cork in Carrick-on-Shannon on February 2nd. The Rebel County opened their Division 3 campaign with a 0-20 to 0-13 win against Offaly at Pairc Úi Chaoimh.
