Farmers in the North West are being warned of a rise in Council inspections on farms.
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has urged all local authorities to increase the number of farm inspections they carry out every year due to fall of 673 inspections last year figure.
The local authority farm inspections with focus on the enforcement of nitrates regulations and compliance with the good agricultural practise.
