Sinn Fein & DUP urged to work together in Stormont



The Taoiseach and British Prime Minister are meeting today in Stormont today following the restoration of power-sharing in the North.

 

Leo Varadkar and Boris Johnson are holding talks with First and Deputy First Ministers, Arlene Foster and Michelle O’Neill.

 

It comes days after the formation of a new power-sharing administration, following three years of political deadlock.

 

Ahead of today’s crunch talks, Sinn Fein and the DUP have been urged  to ‘roll up their sleeves and work together’.

 

That’s according to the Sligo/Leitrim TD and Sinn Fein Spokesperson on Justice and Equality, Martin Kenny.

 

Deputy Kenny says that it’s ‘an opportunity to move forward
