A Donegal TD says it has come as ‘a major disappointment’ that the Seaview House Respite Centre in Mountcharles has not opened today, as was expected.
The centre provides residential respite services for families in the South Donegal area.
RehabCare had been awarded the contract to operate the centre and it was expected the centre would open today, with a service from Monday evenings to Saturday mornings.
But Fianna Fail Deputy Pat the Cope Gallagher says he has been receiving calls today from parents saying the centre is not open.
