Gardai in Donegal have confirmed that an attempted child abduction took place in Glenties yesterday.
Alerts were made and the perpatrator made off.
Gardai are investigating the alleged incident and are checking local CCTV footage from the area.
Parents have been advised by Gardai to ensure the safety of children in the area following the incident
