Brexit the reason for passport demand, says Kenny



A Sligo/Leitrim TD says the upsurge in people from Northern Ireland and Britain applying for Irish passports is a result of Brexit.

There have been 94,000 first-time applications from people born in the North and Great Britain so far in 2019.

Overall over 900 thousand Irish passports were issued this year which is a new record.
