Dail pass Donegal TD’s motion calling for access to personal assistance for people with disabilities to be a ‘right’



A motion has been passed in the Dail calling for access to a personal assistance for people with disabilities to be made a right.

The motion, submitted by Independent Donegal TD Thomas Pringle, received unanimous support in the chamber.

He highlighted the fact that access to a personal assistant for some people is crucial and that the current system is underfunded.

Deputy Pringle tells OceanFM News he believes the government need to make the changes necessary to enforce the motion.
