The annual Sligo Science Festival is kicking off today.
It’s running until the 17th of November with a wide range of subjects ranging from Global Warming, Forensic Science, ancient DNA and the secret life of crows.
Today, the Annual Science fair will include a number of performances, interactive displays and demonstrations for all of the family.
With the AbbVie Science Roadshow being one of the main attractions, Head of Science, Jerry Bird, says he hopes that the day will encourage people of all ages to get an insight into all things science:
