Councillors from across Sligo have welcomed the opening of a new astropitch in Coolaney .
The Pitch is designed with astro turf to ensure it is weather lasting to be used by many clubs operating in and around Coolaney.
Councillors such as Chris McManus chair of Sligo County Council LCDC and Councillor Dara Mulvey attended the opening along with members of Coolaney Utd Football Club
Fine Gael Coolaney Councillor Dara Mulvey officially opened the pitch and is delighted that such facilities now exist in Sligo
