There is still no clear indication when the Manorhamilton Childcare Centre will reopen, almost a month after it suddenly closed.
99 children from north Leitrim were attending the centre, located in the Bee Park.
Fianna Fail Councillor Mary Bohan is to propose at a meeting of municipal district councillors on Monday that they call on the child and family agency Tusla and Leitrim County Childcare to take urgent action to ensure the reopening of the centre as soon as possible.
But Sligo/Leitrim Fianna Fail Deputy Marc MacSharry says every effort is being made to reopen the centre, although an exact date cannnot be given at this stage.
