Keeny urges Coveney to establish justice for Loughinisland victims

Calls have been made on the Tanáiste Simon Coveney to use his influence with the British government to establish the truth about alleged collusion between the UVF the RUC and the British intelligence agencies in the murder of six men in a bar in Loughinisland in 1994

Sinn Féin’s justice spokesperson, Sligo Leitrim TD Martin Kenny claims A recent RTE documentary,  no Stone Unturned, exposed the depth of collusion between the UVF,  and the security forces in the north at the time.

The Loughinisland Justice Group has campaigned for many years for truth and justice for their loved ones and against state collusion.

Deputy Kenny says these families need to get access to truth and the British Government is standing in the way of it being established.

Kenny has called on the Tánaiste use his influence to ensure they get access to that truth.
