A local councillor in the Ballymote/Tubbercurry Municipal District has allocated a new car park to the town of Ballymote.
The new 54 space car park will be located on Lord Edward Street in the town in order to help businesses, relief traffic congestion on the main streets and enhance the community.
The site is also set to include an electric vehicle charging point.
