It’s part of the €20m national fund under the Sláintecare Integration Fund where 477 projects applied for money with 122 being successful around the country.

The aim of the funding is to harness innovative and long lasting health and social care in local communities.

The money will go towards projects such as Diabetes Care, Mental Health and Cardiac Services.

Fine Gael Senator and general election candidate in the Sligo, Leitrim, South Donegal and North Roscommon constituency, Frank Feighan is welcoming the news.
