Cannonball Ireland 2019 comes to the streets of Sligo this evening.
All city centre streets and key routes will be closed to facilitate the event between 6pm and 8.30pm, these include Pearse Rd, Teeling St, Grattan St/John St, Adelaide St, Wine St, Stephen St, O’Connell St, Harmony Hill, Market St, Burton St, Charlotte St, Thomas St and Chapel Hill.
Parking will be available at Connaughton Road Car Park, Abbey Street Car Park, Adelaide Street Car Park, but there’s no access or exit between 6pm – 8.30pm.
In the Wine Street Car Park, thee will also be no access or exit between 6pm and 8.30pm.
The Stephen Street Car Park will be closed from 12pm – 8.30pm.
Meanwhile, the Promenade at Rosses Point will be closed to traffic from 9.30am to 12 midday on Sunday as the Cannonball Run prepares to leave.
Members of the public will have access to the Promenade to view the cars on show.
