Donegal TD and Education Minister Joe McHugh has announced that St Catherine’s Vocational School in Killybegs has been approved for essential maintenance.
It has now been approved for fire safety improvements under the Department of Education and Skills emergency works programme.
Minister McHugh says emergency projects are often relatively small scale works but hugely important for schools.
Such works can include improving access, health and safety issues, fixing leaks, windows and doors, fire safety and wheelchair accessible toilets.
