A Sligo cllr has described the Health Minister as ‘incompetent’.
The issues of the shortage of home help hours was raised once again at yesterday’s meeting of the Sligo/Strandhill area of Sligo County Council.
Fianna Fail Cllr Tom MacSharry says it is disgraceful there will be no additional home help hours granted for people in Sligo until the issue is possibly reviewed in the upcoming budget.
Cllr MacSharry says Minister Simon Harris can’t get a handle on the health budget or his portfolio.
