Concerns have been voiced over proposed new EU legislation that would force farmers, hunters and gun-owners to pay millions of euro to replace their shotguns.
Sinn Féin MEP Matt Carthy says it’s disappointing that the government has failed to engage in talks with gun-owners about the proposals.
