Motorists in the North Leitrim area are being urged to proceed with caution this morning on the main Drunkeerin to Manorhamilton road.
The fire services are currently treating an oil spill three kilometres from Drumkeerin at an area known locally as “factory cross”.
Warnings have also been issued for those travelling from Drumkeerin to Drumshanbo as that road has also been effected by an oil spill and the road in question has been described as “very dangerous at present”.
