Sligo Town is nominated in the 2019 Bank of Ireland Enterprise Town Awards.
The aim of the awards is to see how businesses and local communities work together in an enterprising way.
There is a prize fund of almost €200,000 this year and Sligo Town will be competing against 79 other towns for a share of the money.
Judges are to visit all nominated places in August and September this year with an awards gala in December.
The awards are part of BoI €1.2m investment in communities this year.
