Thirty-six per cent of homes and businesses in County Donegal are still waiting for high-speed broadband.
Fianna Fail Deputy Charlie McConalogue says recent census figures put Donegal as the poorest in the country, with high unemployment and youth emigration.
Deputy McConalogue believes lack of high-speed broadband is contributing to this.
