There’s been an increase in house prices across the north west.
The latest REA Average House Price Index shows prices in Sligo have risen the most at 3.2% followed by Leitrim at 2.2% in the last three months.
The average house price in Donegal is now 95,000 – this is unchanged in the last 12 months.
In Sligo that figure is significantly more at €127,500 and current prices in Leitrim stand at €117,500.
Joe Brady, from REA Brady in Carrick-on-Shannon says prices will continue to rise in the county as new houses are not being built.
