Donegal business given enforcement order from FSA

A business in Donegal is one of eight given an enforcement order from the Food Safety Authority last month.

Visible mouse droppings and dead flies were some of the reasons why the food safety authority handed out 8 enforcement orders to businesses

The businesses, which include take-aways, restaurants, and cafes are located in Donegal, Kildare, Kerry, Louth, Dublin and Meath.

Some were found to be incorrectly storing food, providing no allergy information, and using chopping boards in a filthy condition.

The Food Safety Authority says there was an obvious lack of training of staff at some premises as there was no evidence of any cleaning taking place.
