The reluctance of Leitrim County Council to invest in a film fund has been described as a missed opportunity to promote the county to a world wide audience.
WRAP the Western Region Audio Producers fund was established to promote the film industry in the north west.
Sligo, Donegal, Galway and Mayo are already part of the fund.
Independent Councillor Felim Gurn says that Leitrim are missing out on promoting the county to a worldwide audience.
