55 people waiting on hospital beds in the north west



563 patients are waiting on trolleys at hospitals across the country today.

 

55 of those patients are situated in the north west with 33 at Sligo University Hospital and 22 at Letterkenny University Hospital.

 

According to figures from the INMO, the worst affected facility is University Hospital Limerick where there are 64 people awaiting a bed.

 

That’s followed by 44 patients at both Cork University Hospital and University Hospital Galway.
