Crowd-funding campaign to bring steam engine ‘Drumboe’ back to Donegal



Donegal Railway Heritage Centre has launched a crowd-funding initiative to help bring a famous steam engine back to the county.,

The ‘Drumboe’, Donegal’s most famous steam engine, is currently in a railway yard in Whitehead, Co Antrim.

But the Donegal Heritage Centre is now aiming to raise €60,000 to restore the engine and have it as a central part of its display in Donegal Town.

People wishing to contribute may go to Go Fund Me web site and search for ‘Drumboe.’
