Two people charged with murder of Sligo man in Tyrone



Two people have been charged with the murder of a Sligo man in Tyrone at the weekend.

The body of 30-year-old Pat Ward was discovered in the McCrea Park area of Clogher on Saturday.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland charged two people with the murder last night.

The pair were arrested on Saturday on suspicion of Mr Ward’s murder, whose body was found in an alleyway at about 8.15am on Saturday morning.

The PSNI said a 33-year-old a woman and a 23-year-old man are due to appear before Dungannon Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.

Mr Ward, was originally from Sligo but he had been living in Clogher in recent times.
