The Ballymote-Drumfin Road in Sligo has re-opened to local traffic after two lorries went off the road there this morning.
Heavy goods vehicles are advised to travel by the national route as the road is still extremely slippy.
Motorists are being advised to exercise extreme caution on untreated local roads with overnight frost creating hazardous conditions.
