Funding has been announced to help small businesses in Sligo to develop their online capabilities.
The Trading Online Voucher Scheme will support small/micro businesses in developing their ecommerce capabilities through the provision of training, advice and grant assistance of up to €2,500.
In 2018, the Department of Communications, Climate Action and the Environment supported 22 local businesses here in Sligo with funding as part of the Scheme.
Local Fine Gael Area Representative Thomas Walsh says the online voucher scheme is essential to helping small business in the county adapt to the changes and increase growth and job creation.
