Vandalism at Collooney playground condemned

There has been strong condemnation of vandalism at a playground in Collooney, which has been described as ‘the heart and soul of the community.’

Sections of safety fencing, consisting of metal poles and mesh, were damaged and stolen at the playground.

It was opened in 2010 but, as Sinn Fein Councillor Thomas Healy explains, the local community will now have to foot the cost of the damage caused.
