Two Sligo students take part in BT Young Scientist Exhibition

Two students from Ballinode College in Sligo are taking part in this year’s BT Young Scientist Exhibition in Dublin.

Their project titled ‘The Quantitative After Effects of Awareness Campaigns’ is entered into the senior category of the Social and Behavioural Sciences section.

Shane Parkes and Robert Matczak have joined students from all around the country at the RDS this afternoon where the first round of judging is due to take place.

Shane explains how they came up with the idea for the project.
