The property marking machine is in Gurteen today.
The Telesis machine marks people properties with their Eir code so it can be identified in the case of theft.
Today it’s in Gurteen Community Hall Car Park from 11am to 3pm where members of the public can bring their equipment to be marked for free.
Two more dates are planned for this month, next Saturday the 12th of January at Tubbercurry Carpark, Teach Laighne and Saturday the 19th at Bunninadden Community Centre, both from 11am to 3pm.
The machine is a joint effort with the Gardaí and Sligo County Council to combat rural crime.
