Coast Guard helicopter airlifts injured woman from Knocknarea
A woman was rescued from Knocknarea Mountain in north Sligo this afternoon with a suspected leg or ankle injury. The emergency arose just before 3pm. A Coast Guard helicopter airlifted the woman to its base at Strandhill, from where she was taken by ambulance to Sligo Univesity Hospital.
