Former Bundoran cllr seeks nomination for EU elections



Former Bundoran town councillor and LGBT activist Tiernan Brady’s is to seek a nomination to run in the European Elections.

Mr Brady is up against competition from former Fianna Fail ministers Mary Hanafin, Barry Andrews and Conor Lenihan for the nomination.

Fianna Fail deputy leader Dara Calleary and the party’s justice spokesman Jim O’Callaghan are backing Mr Brady to be the party’s candidate in the Dublin constituency.

Mr Brady says it’s time for a fresh approach from Fianna Fail.
