The draw for the 2019 Sigerson Cup – third level gaelic football’s premier national competition – was made at Croke Park on Wednesday.
IT Sligo have been drawn away to Garda College in round one. The match is provisionally fixed for January 16th in Dublin.
The format to the Sigerson Cup has changed slightly with the introduction of back-door system for first round losers.
IT Sligo are managed this year by Ballyshannon’s Brendan Drummond.
In the Trench Cup, Letterkenny IT, managed by Michael Murphy, will take on Mary Immaculate from Limerick in round one.
