The Save Leitrim Group will later today bring a number of appeals before the Forestry Appeals Committee.
The Group which was established to try and prevent the spread of forestry plantations in the County will go before the recently formed Appeals Committee in Potlaoise with four separate objections.
Sean Wynne is the secretary of the Leagues against unplanned forestry, the Drumshanbo native says that today’s hearings will have to consider a number of issues that are impacting many rural parts of Leitrim.
