7.30pm The Road has now reopened.
5:30pm: The N17 road on the Ballinacarrow side of Tubbercurry, Co Sligo, is closed because of a traffic accident.
Traffic is being diverted through Connolly Park, in Tubbercurry.
It’s understood two vehicles were involved in the accident, which occurred near St George’s Church, on the outskirts of the town.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area, if possible.
Emergency services are at the scene.
