Donegal Deputy Thomas Pringle has received a warm reception for his Fossil Fuel Divestment Bill at the IPU General Assembly in Geneva.
The bill will see the Government divest its public money out of fossil fuel companies.
Already passed by the Dail, it’s hoped the bill will come into law by the New Year.
Independent Deputy Pringle said it was well received at the IPU General Assembly with about 50 countries represented.
