Hospitality sector facing crisis due to lack of chefs

The hospitality sector in Ireland is facing into a major crisis due to the lack of chef’s.

That’s according to a local hotel manager in the North West.

The hospitality sector is still reeling from the increase in the VAT from this week’s budget, and Brexit will also be another major challenge for those involved in the sector in the North West.

Matthew McDonagh, general manager of the Landmark Hotel in Carrick-on-Shannon, says that the government is not doing enough for the industry when it comes to combatting the main challenges facing the sector.
