Residents have not ruled out legal action over handling of local postal services



North Sligo residents say they have not ruled out taking legal action over the way An Post has dealt with the closure of their post office.

Local people claim that a decision on their submission to retain post office services in the Maugherow area was made before an independent assessor even received their submission.

An Post spokesman Angus Laverty told Ocean FM News yesterday that the submission from the Maugherow group was received last Thursday.
