No end in sight for south Sligo boil water notice

There’s no immediate resolution in sight for the ongoing problems with the Lough Talt water supply in Sligo.

Boil water notices have been extended for the foreseeable future by Irish Water.

Irish Water has confirmed that the boil water notice which was first introduced in February of this year is being extended as a result of this most recent notice.

The boil water notice will continue to affect approximately 13,000 homes.
