Security is tight around the Donegal border village of Belleek as the world famous Belleek Pottery is expecting a very special royal visitor shortly.
Prince Andrew is expected to arrive at the factory which is based in the most westerly part of the Royal Familiy’s kingdom around now (5pm).
The visit which like many royal visits is kept quiet until the last minute comes about two months after British Prime Minister Theresa May visited Belleek Pottery in July.
Managing Director of Belleek Pottery John Maguire will be taking the prince and his entourage which will include around 40 local business and community figures on a guided tour of the premises and will be stopping briefly to chat to a number of the local craftsmen and women.
