The contractors for carrying out work on Tir Chonaill bridge in Donegal Town will be officially appointed today.
Representatives from L & M Keating Ltd, Donegal County Council Roads Service and elected members will attend the event today with work set to start within two weeks.
The work is long overdue but improve traffic flow in the town and it’s hoped it will be finished before the busy Christmas period.
