Hundreds of people turned out for two public meetings in Co Sligo last night in protest against post office closures.
A meeting was held in Gurteen community hall, where over 400 people turned out.
While another meeting was held in Maugherow in protest against the proposed closure of Ballinfull post office.
Four post offices have been earmarked for closure in Sligo, Ballinfull, Dromard, Gurteen and Monasteradan.
