Sligo County Council is investigating after a large amount of rubbish was illegally dumped at one of the most scenic locations in the west of the county.
The dumping occurred near Lough Easkey, on the road through the Ox Mountains from Dromore West to Tubbercurry.
Among the items discarded were old televisions, childrens toys and general waste.
The area is popular with walkers, cyclists and tourists.
Local businessman Blair Feeney says local people are outraged.
